Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ officially launched in Malaysia with Park Bo Gum
Samsung’s latest flagship phones the Galaxy S9 and S9+ have finally made their official debut today in Malaysia at the Pavilion mall in Bukit Bintang. Both phones arrived in a grand fashion as South Korean superstar Park Bo Gum landed in Malaysia to grace the launch of the phone.
Park Bo Gum shared the stage with Samsung Malaysia President Yoonsoo Kim where they both launched the phone to the adulation of thousands of fans of both the star and the brand, kicking off a series of roadshows nationwide where buyers could see, touch, feel and ultimately purchase the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
At each of the three nationwide roadshows, which takes place at Pavilion mall as well as Queensbay Mall in Penang and AEON Bandar Dato Onn in Johor Bahru, buyers can enjoy a host of benefits when purchasing a Galaxy S9 or S9+ that include a free wireless charger worth RM279, the chance to purchase a Gear Sport at 30% as a special purchase-with-purchase promo, a discount on selected Galaxy S9 and S9+ accessories and more. The roadshows run through until 18 March 2018 and the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will also be available to purchase at authorised retailers nationwide.
We’ve covered it since its earliest murmurings in the industry, its launch at Mobile World Congress and later on in our in-depth review and it’s certainly one of the most powerful phones of 2018 with exceptional hardware and a dual aperture camera that takes some seriously brill shots. The Galaxy S9+ is the more powerful of the duo and has a second additional optically stabilised telephoto camera to complement the primary dual aperture camera as well as a larger display. Prices start from RM3,299 for the Galaxy S9 all the way to RM4,399 for the 256GB version of the Galaxy S9+. Both phones come in your choice of three colours – Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple.
