Schneider Electric Innovation Day Kuala Lumpur 2026 Brings Energy Innovation to the Forefront
At Schneider Electric Innovation Day Kuala Lumpur 2026, the brand brought together key utilities, industry and government representatives under the core theme of ‘Advancing Energy Tech for Malaysia’s Future’.

Schneider Electric Innovation Day Kuala Lumpur 2026 highlights
The event highlighted how electricity demand is no longer the only infrastructure consideration for major technology investments. Grid capacity, cooling, water availability, digitalisation and decarbonisation are increasingly becoming part of the equation when companies decide where and how to expand.
Panel discussions at Schneider Electric Innovation Day Kuala Lumpur 2026 brought stakeholders together to explore how Malaysia can strengthen its infrastructure to support continued growth.

The event also saw Schneider Electric and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) announce a partnership that brings together Schneider Electric’s global energy technology expertise and UNITEN’s research and talent development capabilities to help prepare Malaysia for future growth.

Research and collaboration areas include energy systems, future distribution grids, Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), digital grid technologies and artificial intelligence applications for the energy sector.
These areas are increasingly relevant as electricity networks accommodate more renewable energy, changing demand patterns and more complex operating requirements.

Malaysia recorded RM218.5 billion in approved investments in the first half of 2026, with advanced manufacturing and technology among the country’s key growth drivers. To sustain this momentum, energy, water and digital infrastructure will need to scale alongside investment without compromising reliability, affordability and sustainability.
