NTT Ltd. and Palo Alto Networks team up to expand Secure by Design solutions

Technology services provider NTT Ltd. and cybersecurity provider Palo Alto Networks have just announced an expanded strategic partnership that will bring together NTT Ltd’s ‘Secure by Design’ services with Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access and Cortex XSOAR technologies, with an emphasis on intelligent workspace, intelligent infrastructure and intelligent cybersecurity that can integrate with existing digital workspaces, allowing organisations to safely and securely manage their digital transformation journey.

This extended strategic alliance will see over 2,000 NTT Ltd. security specialists deliver managed ‘Secure by Design’ security services with flexible, scalable platforms and value added services in tandem with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access and Cortex XSOAR technologies. This welcome move comes at a critical time seeing the migration of hardware towards a more software-defined, programmable infrastructure.

To wit, this new strategic collaboration between both organisations will focus on three key Secure by Design models which allow clients to scale their own operations via a solution architecture and service delivery model that encompasses technology, people and business processes:

• Intelligent Workplace: ‘Secure Employee’ provided by Prisma Access Threat Detection + Incident Response + Consulting + Uptime for Palo Alto Networks.
• Intelligent Infrastructure: ‘Secure Branch’ provided by Prisma Access + Threat Detection + Incident Response + Consulting + Uptime for Palo Alto Networks.
• Intelligent Cybersecurity: ‘Secure Automated Operations’ provided by Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR platform + Consulting.

Moving forward, NTT will also integrated Cortex XSOAR tech into their own Security Operation Centers across the globe to enhance service delivery for their own managed security clients while clients that require SOC modernisation tech via SOAR will be integrated into Palo Alto’s Networks, allowing NTT Ltd. to focus on innovative development and seamless service transition towards threat hunting and detection as well as SOC capabilities.
