Shopee 11.11 Big Sale enjoyed a huge boost from Malaysians. Here’s what they bought…
Things are looking up in Malaysia if the recent sales results from the Shopee 11.11 Big Sale are any indication.
According to Shopee, the one-day sale on 11th November saw over 1.8 million home improvement and decoration products sold, over 13 million face masks sold, over 30,000 COVID-19 test kits sold and over 2 billion items purchased overall, soundly smashing last year’s record.
For 2021, Shopee saw 5.5 times more visits in the first 2 hours compared to an average day on the platform. In keeping with the spirit of things, users also claimed over RM5 million in ShopeePay vouchers via ‘Deals Near Me’ and watched over 4.8 million hours of Shopee Live while getting over 41 million Golden Tickets in a bid to win a condo worth over RM500,000 and a BMW 218i Grand Coupe M Sport.
