New ‘Deals Near Me’ feature in ShopeePay gets you the best deals around you
Shopee is growing from strength to strength and their ShopeePay mobile wallet now has a new ‘Deals Near Me’ feature that helpfully points users to nearby offline merchants with deals in your immediate vicinity.
What’s Deals Near Me
This ‘Deals Near Me’ feature on ShopeePay helps users to discover ShopeePay vouchers for nearby merchants beyond the usual Shopee milieu like restaurants, cafes and other offline services.
The general idea here is that you can buy a voucher on ShopeePay that’s recommended to you via Deals Near Me that can cost as low as 5 sen and then cash it in at these participating outlets while getting some sweet cashback bonuses when you pay using ShopeePay. Basically, it’s a win-win scenario.
“Deals Near Me helps merchants improve their online visibility and direct would-be customers to their outlets when we feature their cashback deals to consumers that are already in the vicinity. Showing the relevant deals to consumers can also lead to higher conversion and tangible sales for merchants. This is important for business recovery after an extended lockdown period which adversely impacted offline retailers, especially those in the service sector.
