Professional-grade Sonos Amp Multi now available in Malaysia

While Sonos is best known for their wireless speakers for the mass market like the recently launched Sonos Beam Ultra soundbar and the Ace Ultra headphones, they also feature more sophisticated options for more discerning audiences like their new Sonos Amp Multi.

What is the Sonos Amp Multi?

Intended primarily for complex audio installations like large homes or even storefronts, the Sonos Amp Multi is a multi-channel streaming amplifier that scales up Sonos’ connectivity while retaining sound quality and retaining easy scalability.

The Sonos Amp Multi retains Sonos’ easy intuitive controls, has eight amplified outputs capable of delivering 125W each at 8 ohms with each output supporting up to three Sonos Architectural speakers for dense setups. The design also features efficient Gallium Nitride (GaN) power architecture paired with Class-D post-filter feedback for clean, controlled sound and enhanced thermal efficiency without the need for noisy fans.

For added versatility, the Sonos Amp Multi offers four configurable zones for exceptional customisability for even the most palatial homes.

That’s not all, the Sonos Amp Multi also has a manual sound optimisation tool called ProTune for precise control of each output via a 10-band parametric EQ, gain, width control and delay offset to finetune sound for challenging room setups.

For integrators, the Sonos Amp Multi allows for more adaptive layouts as any output can serve any zone while offering fine, granular control of room acoustics. In Malaysia, the Sonos Amp Multi is available for consideration via TC Acoustic.
