Sony Alpha Workshop shows techniques of the pros
Some 200 participants took part in Sony’s annual Alpha Super Workshop that took place over the weekend at the Bayu Marina Resort in Johor Bahru. The two day workshop showcased a host of professional techniques that included hands-on classes in bokeh photography, powder photography and much more to the enthusiastic participants who had come from all over Malaysia. Attendees were also able to experience some of Sony’s latest hardware including their vaunted G Master lenses and wireless flash triggers.
The event was flagged off by Mr. Hideyuki Wada, General Manager of Sony Malaysia who gave a short speech before the workshop began in earnest with participants splitting up into groups to cover the various talks on offer.
To kick things off, Mr. Mun Hoo shared tips on bokeh photography while Mr. Shaiful, Digital Imaging Product Specialist from Sony Malaysia shared his insights on powder photography. Celebrated photographers who were key opinion leaders also shared their experiences and gave valuable tips to participants such as Mr. William Ooi, the Founder of StarDeer Image who shared tips on flash and light photography. Attendees were also given the low-down on Sony’s new 4K action camera by Baron Abas, Director of Photography at WolFang Digital Video Production. To find out more check out Sony’s official site here.
