New Sony LinkBuds Clip earbuds offers comfy design, 37 hours playback; yours for RM899
Sony is upping their game when it comes to their wireless earbuds as they’ve just launched the LinkBuds Clip in Malaysia that blends their customary excellence in acoustics with a new open-clip design.
Sony LinkBuds Clip design and price
Rather than mere aesthetics, the open C-shaped design allows for better ambient sound pick-up without compromising sound quality or comfort and also improves airflow to minimise ear fatigue. To ensure better comfort, the design also ships with fitting cushions for a more precise fit. The design is also rated IPX4 for water resistance which means it’s splashproof, making it perfect for a job or a jaunt in the rain.

Beyond its unique design, the Sony LinkBuds Clip has a versatile Standard mode, a Voice Boost mode that prioritises vocals for content like videos and podcasts and a Sound Leakage Reduction Mode for more discreet listening away from prying ears. Other features include DSEE, 360 Reality Audio and 10-Band EQ adjustment via the Sony Sound Connect app that you can tweak to taste. It also features Multipoint Connection for easy swapping between multiple devices like your phone or laptop.
On paper, the Sony LinkBuds Clip offers up to 37 hours of battery life with 3 minutes of charging offering an hour of use.

In Malaysia, the Sony LinkBuds Clip can be acquired in Black, Green, Lavender and a quaint shade they refer to as Greige which works out to a light tan finish from today onwards for RM899. While stocks last, early bird customers who purchase the LinkBuds Clip also get a free JisuLife Pro 1 hand fan worth RM149.
