Sony LinkBuds S noise cancelling wireless earbuds now on preorder at RM929

Sony is rapidly upping the tempo of releases especially in their audio gear department with the announcement that their latest LinBuds S wireless earbuds that are now available for preorder in Malaysia at RM929 with deliveries starting from 7th June 2022 onwards.

What are the Sony LinkBuds S

For the uninitiated, the Sony LinkBuds S are a pair of wireless in-ear earbuds which have active noise cancellation support and which have been designed for comfortable all-day wear so that they can offer a ‘Never Off’ wearing experience. 

According to Sony, the LinkBuds S are currently ‘the world’s lightest and smallest noise cancelling Hi-Res Truly wireless headphones’ by virtue of their ultra light design with each earbud weighing just 4.8 grams while featuring an ergonomic ear-canal fitting design. 

Each earbud features a 5mm driver paired with their own Integrated Processor V1 chips, LDAC support for high quality Hi-Res Audio and has a LinkBuds ambient sound feature that allows for easy and seamless swapping between powerful noise cancelling to the ability to listen into background noise for quick interactions at will. The earbuds also have Adaptive Sound Control that dynamically adjusts ambient sound settings based on existing background noise for best results.

The Sony LinkBuds S also aim to offer excellent call quality by virtue of their own Precise Voice Pickup Technology that controls the mics on both earbuds. In terms of endurance, Sony has quoted that the earbuds feature 6 hours of endurance with noise-cancelling on and an additional 14 hours with the charging case while a 5- minute charge offers 60 minutes of play time.
