Sony’s new Bravia 75-inch Z9D series 4K HDR Ultra HD TV hits stores for RM29,999
Sony new Bravia Z9D series TVs have just landed in Malaysia. According to Sony, the new Z9D series TVs come with a new 4K image processor dubbed the 4K HDR Process X1 Extreme along with their precision Backlight Master Drive tech, a refined, new backlighting tech for exceptional contrast and colours.
The 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme tech on the Z9D series is able to offer 40% more real-time image processing compared to the current gen 4K Processor X1 by incorporating three interesting bits of tech – object-based HDR Remaster, dual database processing and Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR. Minus the esoteric techspeak, the tech behind the Z9D series aims to upscale standard HD content to near 4K HDR quality, reduce erronous noise when upscaling images to near 4K and create smoother, more natural colours onscreen.
The Backlight Master Drive allows for precision backlighting to dim and boost each LED individually for even better contrast than ever before with super deep blacks and brilliant whites onscreen. Other technologies include their Triluminos Display, X-tended Dynamic Range PRO and 4K X-Reality PRO to deliver a brilliant viewing experience.
The Z9D series comes in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes, both of which run on Android TV and retail for RM23,999 and RM29,999 respectively at all Sony stores and Sony Centres nationwide.
