The sporty Kia Picanto is rolling into town soon

Naza Kia Malaysia is about to bring in the third-generation incarnation of their sleek looking  Kia Picanto that aims to blend in better performance and safety without busting your bank balance in the bargain.

The Kia Picanto is a zippy A-segment ride that sports a 1.25l four- cylinder engine with 62kW@6,000rpm of power and a maximum torque of 122Nm@4,000rpm paired to a four-speed automatic transmission along with a bevy of safety features. For starters, it incorporates more than the normal quartet of airbags in a car. The Kia Picanto actually has six airbags on the front and sides to keep not only the front driver and passenger but the rear passengers safe in the event of a collision. The Kia Picanto also has Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) incorporated into core stress areas in the cabin for exceptional rigidity and thus more safety.

The A-segment Kia Picanto also has a floating 7.00-inch touchscreen infotainment system emplaced in the centre of the dashboard that pairs up to your phone and also works with Android Auto and Apple Carplay to play tunes and calls at your whim and fancy.

The new Kia Picanto is quite a workhorse too with 1,010 litres of cargo space that can fit the better part of Paris Hilton’s wardrobe into it and then some. There’s no word on pricing as yet for Malaysia but Naza Kia Malaysia will be introducing the Kia Picanto to Malaysia on 10 January 2018 at selected showrooms nationwide.
