The Asus ZenFone 3 Max with humongous 4100mAh battery hits stores for RM999

Asus has debuted another addition to the ZenFone 3 family for Malaysia in the form of the ZenFone 3 Max. For about a grand, you get a phone hewn from a unibody aluminium casing with a 5.5-inch 1080P display, a Snapdragon 430 processor running Android 6.0, 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage with a rear 16-MP camera with an F/2.0 lens and their Pixelmaster low light imaging tech. Perched just under it is a fingerprint sensor. The front selfie cam has an 8-MP sensor with an F/2.2 aperture.

Like many phones of recent vintage, it has a dual hybrid SIM card so you can use two SIM cards or one SIM and a microSD card. The ZenFone 3 Max’s claim to fame though is its massive 4100mAh battery that keeps it going for a good 38 days of standby time. The phone is also able to act as an ersatz power bank too and can charge other devices.  It’s available to at all authorised dealers nationwide and ships in four different colours: silver, gold, gray and pink.
