The Asus ZenFone Live has a beautification mode for live video streaming
The latest Asus ZenFone variant is an interesting one as it throws in a feature that few other phones offer – a Beautification mode when you’re streaming live videos.
Usually, Beautification mode only works on stills. In the case of the Asus ZenFone Live, it works its magic on live streaming video so you’re able to present a flawless visage that would require a squad of makeup artists with just the press of a button.
All this is taken on the front-facing selfie camera that features a dedicated soft LED flash and a front-facing camera with 1.4um pixels and an F/2.2 aperture for better snaps. The rear camera on the ZenFone Live has a 13-MP sensor, a 5p Largan lens with an F/2.0 aperture and their PixelMaster 3.0 tech for better performance in more challenging light conditions.
The rest of the hardware on the ZenFone Live consists of a 5-inch HD display sheathed in 2.5D glass, a Snapdragon quadcore processor running Android Marshmallow, 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage via a hybrid SIM card and free 100GB of Google Drive cloud storage for up to 2 years. Other mod-cons include a 5-magnet speaker for better audio and a 2,650mAh battery that can potentially offer up to 24 hours of talk time.
The ZenFone Live comes in three colours – Navy Black, Shimmer Gold and Rose Pink and is now available nationwide in Malaysia. If this piques your interest, acquiring one will set you back RM649.
