The new Neffos N1 with rear dual-camera launched in Malaysia
Neffos Malaysia aims to take the market by storm as it launched their first dual-camera phone dubbed the N1 in Malaysia. Lead by their flagship N1, Neffos also highlighted their existing midrange C7 and the entry level C5A at the press conference.
The Neffos N1 is their flagship offering with the best hardware that the brand can offer. In terms of hardware, it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, a MediaTek Helio P25 octacore processor running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and their NFUI user interface overlaying it, a rear fingerprint reader, 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage that can be augmented via a microSD card slot that accepts up to 128GB cards. Externally, it bears somewhat of a resemblance to the Huawei P9 with curved edges, subtle antenna bands along with a band of black glass up top where the dual camera array is.
The rear dual camera array comes with two 12-MP cameras with one capturing colour and the other monochrome; the camera combines the depth and detail from the mono sensor with the colour one for better pics.
The front sports an 8-MP selfie camera. Keeping the whole affair juiced is a non-removable 3,260mAh battery charged via a USB Type-C port at the base. The N1 is available starting today nationwide for RM1,099 in the only colour you’ll ever need, which in this case is Space Black. Also sharing the limelight with the Neffos N1 was the midrange C7 and the entry level C5A. The C7 has a 5-inch HD display, a MediaTek MT6750 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage with a 13-MP rear camera and an 8-MP selfie camera with power supplied by a 3,060mAh battery. All this clocks in at RM599.
The entry level Neffos C5A retails for RM299 and comes with a 5-inch display, a MediaTek MT6580M processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. The camera is a very modest 5-MP on the rear while the front is a 2-MP camera. It does have a large 2,300mAh battery for its size though.
