The RM7000 Huawei Porsche Design Mate 9 is coming to Malaysia this 22 December

Well then, the stars have aligned and you’re in luck as Huawei is shipping in an extremely limited number of their exclusive and elusive Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 phones that will be available for preorders on 11street and Vmall.my starting from today.

Befitting its moniker, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 has slick curved edges, a stylish black finish and the signature Porsche logo emblazoned on the rear with the monogram, in case the bespoke design doesn’t tip you off, on the front just above the display.

The hardware befits its rather impressive price tag. For your money, what you’re getting is a 5.5-inch, 1,440 x 2,560 pixel display with a whopping 534ppi. This is paired with their latest HiSilicon Kirin 960 octacore processor that comes with four 2.4GHz Cortex A73 cores and 4 1.8GHz Cortex A53 cores running Android Nougat 7.0. Added on to this is an impressive 6GB RAM and a humongous 256GB of onboard memory. The rear camera is vastly upgunned from the earlier generation P9 – you’re looking at a 20-MP monochrome sensor paired with a 12-MP colour sensor along with Leica-hewn optics and the ability to capture 4K video The front has an 8-MP sensor with an F/1.9 aperture to capture 1080p video. Powering this behemoth is a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
