The Xiaomi Lunar New Year Sales are coming starting 10AM 21 January

If you’ve been hankering to get something on the Xiaomi web store but have put it off for some time you’re in luck as they’re having a Lunar New Year sale starting at 10AM sharp GMT+8 21 January and which will end at 10PM, 22 January.

The deals vary across the board while stocks last. During the course of the two day sale, you can get the fetching Mi Note at a discounted price of RM1,499. That’s about RM100 off the original price of RM1,549.The 32GB version of the Mi 4i gets an RM50 discount for a discounted price of RM849 . The Redmi 2 Enhanced gets RM30 off the original price for a discounted price of RM499.

If you use PayPal, you can get an additional RM30 discount for all Mi phones except for the Redmi Note 2 and additional discounts for other kit too that stack up with the discounted price. For example, the Mi Note costs RM1,549 sans discount. Add in the Lunar New Year discount and the Paypal discount and you get it for RM1,469 (RM130 discount). Not a bad deal.

Other deals run across their range of USB accessories, power banks and headphones with discounts from RM1-RM7 depending on what you buy. The aforementioned PayPal discount clocks in as well for certain accessories though it’s RM10 off and it’s only for the Mi Band and Mi In-ear headphones.

The clincher here is that you’ll need to buy upwards of RM100 for free shipping lest you incur an RM15 shipping fee (RM25 for East Malaysia). Still, it’s pretty easy to rack that up and the deals look tempting, especially if you’ve been eyeing their phones.
