TikTok and the IFRC are teaming up in #ForClimate campaign to raise awareness of climate change
If you’re like the rest of us roughing it out in the sweltering heat and choking haze, you’ll realise that the specter of climate change is real, it’s here to stay and if something doesn’t get sorted out soon, you’ll likely have to resort to going for trips outside your home in a hazmat suit. Needless to say, that’s not a very desirable outcome which is why TikTok is teaming up with the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to launch the #ForClimate campaign.
From now till September 30th, users on TikTok can raise awareness on hazard change by using three stickers that depict three extreme weather conditions – Rainstorm, Snowstorm and Global Warming.
The #ForClimate awareness campaign is taking place across the planet with participants from over 100 countries ranging from the United Kingdom all the way to Mexico and users in Malaysia are getting in on the act with a range of both entertaining and moving short videos as part of the #ForClimate campaign. Give TikTok a whirl by downloading for free off the Google Play store or the Apple app store. For more details on TikTok swing by www.tiktok.com
