The phone can be of any make, model or generation as long as it’s able to turn on. You don’t even need the original box or accessories. All you need to do is to pass it over at a Samsung Experience store or participating outlet and you’re instantly eligible for the rebate. The J5 retails for RM899 while the J7 Prime retails for RM1,199. After the trade-in rebate, you can acquire the J5 at a very pleasing RM699 and the J7 Prime at RM999.

The J7 Prime proved to be a solid entry level phone when we field tested it and the rebate price looks like an awesome way to score one for someone who needs a workhorse for everyday use. The J7 Prime has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a rear 13-MP camera with an F/1.0 aperture, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable memory with a 3,300mAh battery all of which is crammed into an aluminium casing that can be had in one of three colours.
