My50 Travel Pass

Upgraded: My50 Travel Pass can now be renewed with TNG eWallet

Malaysians who subscribe to a My50 Travel Pass can now enjoy a significantly added measure of convenience. Rather than having to go through the traditional method of having to rely on counter service to activate and renew the My50 Travel Pass, users can now renew the pass via the Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet starting from 1st July 2025 along with a few other extra added perks.

For the uninitiated, the My50 Travel Pass is an RM50 per-month programme for Malaysian citizens for unlimited usage of RapidKL’s intercity network of LRT, MRT, BRT and Monorail trails along with the network of feeder buses in the Klang Valley area. If you’re a regular work commuter, it represents huge savings.

To renew the My50 Travel Pass with the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, users need to be Malaysian citizens and also possess the Enhanced TNG card with NFC capabilities, an NFC-enabled smartphone and most important of all a Touch ‘n Go EWallet account that has been verified with electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) verification. There’s some caveats of course and you can only activate it on one NFC-enabled TNG card at a time.
