VAIO returns in style with S11 and S13 notebooks for business

The VAIO brand has had a pretty long history in Malaysia before wandering off on a sabbatical though they’re now back in force and in style to boot. They’re coming back to Malaysia via Nexstgo, the licensing partner of VAIO Corp in Asia. As the centerpiece of their launch VAIO rolled out their business oriented S11 and S13 notebooks that epitomise portability, aesthetics and performance.

The notebooks are assembled in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture in the Land of the Rising Sun and are rigorously tested to ensure they adhere to the highest standards of quality. Both are extremely lightweight, making them eminently portable as the S11 only weighs 850 grams while the S13 just barely tips the scales at just over a kilo. Both notebooks also have fingerprint readers and anti-spill keyboards.

The smaller VAIO S11 comes with an 11.6-inch 1080p display and runs on an Intel Core i5 8250U 1.6GHz processor, Integrated Intel UHD graphics, 8GB DDR3 RAM and either a 256GB SSD or a 512GB PCie SSD with the former retailing at RM6,499 and the latter at RM6,699. You also get to pick from your choice of a black, brown, pink, silver or white finish.

The VAIO S13 in Black

The larger, bigger VAIO S13 has an either an Intel Core i5-8250U 1.6GHhz like the S11 or a more powerful Intel i7-8550U 1.8GHz CPU, Intel UHD Graphics, 8GB DDR3 RAM and your choice of either 256GB or 512GB PCie SSD. Depending on how you configure your S13, prices start from RM6,199 and up capping off at RM8,399 for the fully tricked out model. The VAIO S13 comes in only black or a shade of silver.
