ViewSonic ColorPro Award Global Photography Contest highlights the spirit of kindness with cash prizes too
Projector and display purveyor ViewSonic is hosting an unprecedented event – a photo competition that they’ve dubbed as the ColorPro Award Global Photography Contest with an overall theme dubbed the ‘Spirit of Kindness’.
The Viewsonic ColorPro Award Global Photography contest is underway until the end of the month (30th August 2020) so you still have some time to craft your entry.
With such a broad and timely theme, seeing as kindness is something that’s critical now that all of us are living in islands of loneliness in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition looks set to attract some diverse entries indeed.
Entry to the competition is free and offers the chance for global exposure to winners. Unlike many other competitions, there’s no strict criteria in terms of size, aspect ratio, style or what device you use to capture it so you can potentially use anything and everything from a dinky Polaroid all the way up to the likes of an iPhone 11, Samsung’s Galaxy Note20 Ultra or a high-end Sony or Canon shooter to take your winning shot.
Submitted photographs in the Viewsonic Colorpro Award Global Photography contest will be judged based by a panel made up of representatives from VIewsonic, Blurb and Shoot the Frame based on overall impression conveyed and emotion delivered, originality, creativity and storytelling in the shot as well as technical aspects of the shot in terms of lighting, exposure, colour, tone and execution.
Viewsonic Colorpro Award Global Photography contest prizes
The first prize in the Viewsonic Colorpro Award Global Photography contest includes US$1,000 in cash, a ColorPro VP2785-2K monitor, 12 months of free TInySpace membership, a Tourbox controller, a US$500 Blurb voucher and a Shoot the Frame premium membership , which all combined makes for a substantial sum.
