Massive ViewSonic LDC138-151 is a 138-inch foldable LED display that can fold down like origami

At their recent ‘Solutions That Shape the Future’ showcase in Malaysia, ViewSonic showcased a range of display solutions ranging from 5-inches all the way to absolutely massive 760-inch displays not only for homes but for public spaces, academic institutions and corporate deployments.

Even with the sheer size of the venue which spanned a ballroom, ViewSonic was not able to showcase their full range of solutions but what took the limelight was their LDC138-151 foldable LED display with an absolutely mammoth 138-inch diagonal which has 1080p resolution, 600 nits brightness, ViewSonic’s proprietary Cinema SuperColor Tech for 120% Rec.709 colour gamut and a quoted LED panel lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.

Framing the display are a pair of 30W speakers and the display itself is mounted to a wheeled frame with motorised height adjustment and a system control box for easy cable management. The LED panels are protected by a Glue-on-Board (GOB) surface treatment, ensuring that the LED panel itself has an IP54 splash proof rating.

What really impresses is that the ViewSonic LDC138-151’s side LED panels are able to fold inward to reduce its width, allowing it to conceivably fit into a cargo elevator without too much trouble.

A panel this large makes it ideal for presentations, advertising or for other locations with high foot traffic and long uptime like hotel lobbies, museums and the like.
