Vivo V23e 5G now available in Malaysia for RM1,599 with free gifts

vivo has debuted their latest phones which are selfie centric midrange workhorses in Malaysia today dubbed the vivo V23e 5G and the V23e with prices starting from RM1,399.

In terms of hardware, we’re looking at a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Android 11 overlaid with their Funtouch 12 OS on a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor along with 5G connectivity for the V23e 5G or a Mediatek Helio G96 with 4G LTE for the V23e.

Both phones have 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage but are able to partially utilise up to 4GB of its 128GB of onboard storage to augment the RAM.

Camera setups for both phones differ slightly with the V23e 5G featuring a front-facing 44MP selfie camera capable of 4K video capture while the rear consists of a triple camera array with a main 50MP camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle and a 2MP macro camera. The cheaper V23e oddly enough has a bigger 50MP selfie camera and a similar rear triple camera array though it uses a slightly larger 64MP sensor for the main camera.

Both variants are otherwise powered by a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging. In terms of colour choices, the vivo V23e 5G comes in a choice of a gradiated blue and pink finish called Sunshine Coast and a conventional black Moonlight Shadow while V23e comes in black and Aurora.

The vivo V23e 5G retails for RM1,599 with RM559 in free gifts while the V23e retails for RM1,399 with RM459 in free gifts. You can check it out on their official online e-store and ecommerce partners on Lazada and Shopee for preorders which will be ongoing until 17th December 2021.
