vivo V50 Lite launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM1299
Fresh off the launch of the vivo V50, they’ve just launched its more affordable sibling the vivo V50 Lite here in Malaysia that comes in three different RAM/storage configurations with prices that start from RM1,299 and up.
In terms of hardware, the vivo V50 Lite comes with a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 5G model and your choice of either 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as the base model or 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage for the higher end variant. The phone runs Android 15 and has their own Funtouch 15 OS running under the hood.
The rear comes with a dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP main camera and a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera along with an Aura Light flash while the front has a single 32MP camera for selfies. Belying its 7.79mm thin size, the phone packs a massive 6,500mAh Bluevolt battery – easily one of the largest ever mounted in a smartphone – with 90W wired fast charging support. On paper, the battery is quoted for a whopping 27.41 hours of YouTube playback.
The chassis of the vivo V50 Lite also has IP65 dust and splash resistance too while retaining an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance rating and military grade certification thanks to an internal cushioning structure and reinforced shield glass protecting the display.

In terms of pricing, the base vivo V50 Lite with 8GB RAM/256Gb storage retails for RM1,299 while the 12GB RAM/ 256GB model retails for RM1,499. The top of the line configuration with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is available priced at RM1,699. All three models are now available nationwide in Malaysia and all configurations can be acquired in your choice of Titanium Gold, Phantom Black and Fantasy Purple colourways.
