vivo V70 FE launched in Malaysia priced from RM1,599

vivo has added another member to their popular V70 series line-up in Malaysia dubbed the vivo V70 FE. Standing for Fan Edition, the new phone aims to offer a finely tuned blend of fashion, battery life and the provision of a huge 200MP main rear camera on the rear.

As phones go, the vivo V70 FE has a flat front and back with rounded corners and straight edges, lending it a silhouette akin to the vivo V70 though its rear camera housing sports a vertically aligned housing rather than the square-shaped one of its more premium sibling.

On top of a premium looking design, the vivo V70 FE also has an IP69 dust and water resistance rating which is impressive for a midrange phone though it’s made of primarily of polycarbonate.

Aesthetics aside, the vivo V70 FE has a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1,260 x 2,800 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits in high brightness mode.

Running under the hood is a Mediatek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor with 5G capabilities and running the latest Android 16 with their new OriginOS 6.0 firmware. Of note is that vivo has committed to a respectable 4 years of OS and 6 years of security updates which lends the phone exceptional longevity.

The rear of the phone hosts a dual camera setup with a 200MP f/1.9 main camera that uses a Samsung HP5 sensor and which has optical image stabilisation. Sitting alongside it is an 8MP ultra wide angle camera. 

Up front, the vivo V70 FE ghosts a single 32MP camera for selfies and mugshots. Keeping the lights on is a massive 7,000mAH display with 90W wired charging.

Rounding off its diverse features is the inclusion of stereo speakers and bypass charging, making it a capable casual gaming option for ardent gamers.

In terms of pricing the vivo V70 FE is available in Malaysia in three RAM/storage configurations with the base 8GB RAM/256GB model retailing for RM1,599, the 8GB RAM/512GB storage variant for RM1,999 and the 12GB RAM/256GB model for RM1,799.
