vivo X100 series coming to Malaysia in 3 January 2024

vivo Malaysia will be launching their new vivo X100 series smartphones this coming 3rd January 2023 in Malaysia fresh off their recent launch in China.

What is the vivo X100 series

The vivo X100 series comes in two variants which consist of the vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro which have a similar build and design but different camera array specficaitions. Both variants of the X100 have a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,260 x 2,800 pixel resolution.

Powering the vivo X100 series smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage depending on configuration and region. The phone runs Android 14 with Funtouch 14 firmware to make it easier to use and navigate the menus.

For cameras, both the vivo x100 and vivo X100 Pro both have a 32MP selfie camera on the front but the vivo X100 has a 50MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom and a 50MP ultrawide angle camera.

The vivo X100 Pro has a more powerful 50MP main camera, a better 50MP telephoto camera with 4.3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra wide angle camera. What makes the cameras special is that the vivo X100 series uses a V3 chip that enhances image quality, helps in capturing stunning 4K videos and also has ZEISS APO floating telephoto camera technology and ZEISS T-coating on the cameras to offer clearer image quality.

In addition to different cameras, the vivo X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging while the vivo X100 Pro has a larger 5,400mAh abttery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
