vivo X200 FE compact flagship with Dimensity 9300+ CPU and ZEISS cameras launched in Malaysia priced from RM2,999

At Starhill Gallery, Vivo officially launched the new vivo X200 FE, a powerful yet compact flagship phone in Malaysia that is on preorder until 4 July 2025. Also launched was their vivo Watch GT smartwatch that offers up to 21 days of battery life and a host of health and fitness tracking functionality.

What is the vivo X200 FE?

For the uninitiated, the vivo X200 FE is just 8mm thin and weighs 196g with an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistant chassis with a 6.31-inch AMOLED ZEISS Master Color Display protected by SCHOTT Xensation protective glass. 

The chassis is rated with an SGS Triple Protection Technologies Certification that vouches for protection against dust, water and shock. What completes the picture is the inclusion of a tasteful frosted finish in your choice of Black Luxe, Yellow Glow, Pink Vibe and Blue Breeze.

The aforementioned display was designed in collaboration with ZEISS for superior colour reproduction and quality, with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. Powering the phone is a flagship-grade Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM augmented by 12GB of virtual RAM off the 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. 

Leveraging their longtime collaboration with ZEISS, the rear cameras host a primary 50MP F/1.88 camera, a secondary 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom and OIS and an 8MP ultra wide angle camera with the whole array capable of up to 6x lossless zoom and up to 100x digital zoom a and up to 4K@60fps video capture. The front hosts a single 50MP camera for selfies and up to 4K@60fps videos. Keeping the phone powered is a 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W FlashCharge fast charging.

Of note with the vivo X200 FE is the inclusion of their array of flagship ZEISS Multifocal portrait modes as well as a Stage Mode that’s ideal for capturing performances from a 3 – 10m distance with optimised results at 1x, 3x and 10x zoom.

The launch saw vivo launched their vivo Watch GT, a square-shaped watch with a 1.58-inch 2.5D curved screen, a lightweight 33g chassis with a stainless steel crown and a host of fitness and health tracking functionality. It features badminton, tennis and pickleball fitness tracking, has 21 days of battery life and comes in either Summer Black or Cloud White colourways.

Vivo X200 FE Malaysia Preorder price and availability

In terms of pricing and availability, the vivo X200 FE is available with 12GB RAM/512GB storage with all four colourways available priced at RM3,199 at the vivo online store, all vivo Concept stores and authorised dealers nationwide but those who preorder before 4 July 2025 can get an RM200 off, knocking the price down to RM2,999 for early birds.
