Ahead of their upcoming flagship X200 series launch in Malaysia, vivo has also issued a cheerfully cheap, robustly made budget addition to their budget Y-series line-up dubbed the vivo Y19s with prices that start from RM499.

For your money, you’re getting a phone that packs a large 6.68-inch HD resolution IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a modest Unisoc Tiger T612 octacore processor that has a 4G LTE modem, your choice of either 6GB RAM with 128GB of onboard storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations, a single 50MP rear camera, a single 5MP front camera and a large 5,500mAh battery with 15W wired charging. 

Additional features that make the vivo Y19s appealing including an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, anti-drop cushioning built into the chassis for improved drop resistance and a set of stereo speakers capable of cranking sound at up to 300% of its normal volume in case you need to share your taste in music to everyone within a dozen paces.
