vivo Y33T budget phone lands in Malaysia for RM999

vivo is introducing another budget phone dubbed the vivo Y33T to Malaysia that costs RM999. On paper, the vivo Y33T is essentially an entry-level phone with a midrange processor, a rear triple camera array and a large battery to keep it juiced through the day.

The phone does have a somewhat quaint name, seeing as it’s L33T speak for ‘Yeet’ which in itself is slang to attempt to terminally decelerate an object. Name aside, it has a 6.58-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, uses a Snapdragon 680 processor with a 4G modem running Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12, has 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone also has the option to add up to 4GB of VRAM. Keeping it powered is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

On the rear the phone has a triple camera array that consists of a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera while the front has a 16MP selfie camera. The vivo Y33T will be available in Malaysia in your choice of Mirror Black, Midday Dream and Starry Gold for RM999 starting from today on their official online store and official partners.
