WiZ HDMI Sync Box, Gradient Light Bar, Floor Light and more aim to class up your viewing from RM359

Lighting purveyor Wiz has just launched their new array of immersive lighting products in Malaysia that consist of the WiZ Gradient Light Bar, the WiZ Gradient Floor Light and WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV backlight at the International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition (ARHIDEX) event held at KLCC Convention Centre.

In essence, the new WiZ lighting products aim to offer immersive lighting based on the movies and games you’re playing onscreen with the core of the entire setup built around the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight.

What is the WiZ HDMI Sync Box?

As you’d likely surmise, the Sync box hooks up via HDMI to a gaming console set-top box or streaming stick and then projects ambient lighting out via a series of lighting strips slapped onto the back of a TV. The Sync box supports HDMI 2.0 and up to 4K@60Hz video with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. Users can set lights to taste along with the choice of four preset modes – Cinematic, Vibrant, Relation and Rhythmic. It can also connect and interact with other WiZ colour-capable lights via WiFi or Bluetooth with no upper limit to how many lights can be connected save for how deep your pocket goes. 

Alternatively, the Sync box can also capture audio from the built-in microphone and change its lighting and colours to match the sound which can generate endlessly trippy light shows off your Spotify play list. In Malaysia, the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight is available in two variants with one version for 55-65-inch TVs for RM499 and the larger one for 75-85-inch TVs for RM599.
