Xiaomi has launched their latest midrange Xiaomi 12 Lite smartphone that comes in a selection of pastel hues as well as two RAM/storage configurations for Malaysia.

In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi 12 Lite features a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hx touch sampling rate, a Snapdragon 778G processor running Android 12 overlaid with MIUI 13, 8GB RAM and your choice of either 128GB or 256GB of storage. It also features 5G connectivity on top of stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.

The rear features a triple rear camera array built around a humongous 108MP F/1.88 camera with Super Pixel tech and a Samsung HM2 sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera while selfies are tackled by a 32MP selfie camera. A 4,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging keeps it juiced.

In Malaysia, the Xiaomi 12 Lite with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage is officially priced at RM1,699 while the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at RM1,899.

Preorders are open from today until 26th August 2022 with an RM100 discount if you plonk down your cash during the preorder period.
