Xiaomi Redmi 10 5G budget phone is a Maxis exclusive in Malaysia priced from RM1 with a plan

Xiaomi is rolling out their latest Redmi 10 5G budget phone as a Maxis exclusive via their Maxis Zerolution plans. While it typically costs RM959 at retail, getting it on a plan allows you to acquire the phone from just RM1.

The Redmi 10 5G can be acquired for just RM1 if you sign up for a Maxis Postpaid 188 plan on contract. On the other end of the scale, you can get it for RM39 if you get it on a Maxis Postpaid Share 48 plan.

What is the Redmi 10 5G

In terms of hardware, the Redmi 10 5G is a modest workhorse. You get a 6.5-8-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU running Android 12 paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage as well as a 5,000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging to keep it juiced.

The rear has a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor riding shotgun while the front has a 5MP selfie camera. Some novel mod-cons are a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a bundled 22.5W charger in the box.
