Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 laptops are finally here in Malaysia from RM2,399
Xiaomi has been making laptops for a few years now but it’s only now that they’re finally available in Malaysia with two variants of their Xiaomi RedmiBook laptops priced from RM2,399.
Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 Specifications in Malaysia
The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 comes in two variants that primarily differ in terms of what processor they offer and storage.
The entry-level Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming for flicker free viewing even at low brightness levels. Running under the hood is an 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor, 8GB 3,200MHz DDR4 RAM, integrated Intel UHD graphics and a 256GB SSD. Ports are relatively diverse including an SD card reader, a HDMI 1.4 port, USB 3.0 ports and an audio jack. Other mod-cons include a 720P HD webcam and the laptop is powered by a 46Wh battery that’s officially rated for 10 hours of battery life. This version costs RM2,399.
An upgunned variant features an 11th Gen 11300H processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, Intel Iris Xe graphics and a 512GB SSD for RM2,799 though its battery, chassis and display are otherwise similar to the i3 model.
Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 availability
In Malaysia, the Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 will be available starting from 6th June 2022 at all authorised Xiaomi stores in Malaysia and on their official Lazada and Shopee stores. For a limited time from 6th to 30th June 2022, buyers can get the RedmiBook 15 i3 for just RM1,899 and the RedmiBook 15 i5 for RM2,499 as well as a free Mi Casual Backpack worth RM69 at authorised Xiaomi stores while stocks last.
