ZenFone 3 Deluxe now available in Malaysia from RM2,599

The most powerful variant of Asus’ ZenFone 3 series, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is now available for sale in Malaysia following on from its more affordable siblings that were released within the past two months. The phone comes in two different subvariants for Malaysia.

What both variants have in common is that they come with a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display that has exceptionally slim 1.3mm thin bezels ensconced in a machined aluminium casing that eliminates antenna lines altogether. The rear comes with a 23-MP camera with a Sony IMX318 sensor, a 6P Largan lens and the whole affair also includes laser and phase detection autofocus that offers a swift 0.03 seconds of autofocus time, 4-axis optical image stabilisation and a dual LED flash to capture brill snaps and 2160P@30fps video.

 A fingerprint sensor is perched just beneath the rear camera. The front comes with an 8-MP selfie camera that can capture 1080p video. Both variants come with a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 tech via a USB Type-C port.

Where both variants differ is in terms of storage ability and processor. The lower-specced and slightly cheaper ZenFone 3 Deluxe AKA the  ZS570KL-2G005WW comes with a 64-bit Snapdragon 820 2.15GHz quad-core processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage for RM2,599. The higher end ZenFone 3 Deluxe variant, aka the ZS570KL-2J025WW comes with a nippier Snapdragon 821 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 6GB RAM and a whopping 256GB of onboard expandable storage.
