Jabra’s compact Evolve 75e business earphones offer noise cancelling and more
Open office setups are usually a chaotic cacophony of noise with everything from your office mates nattering away at ridiculously loud volumes, coughing like they choked on a hairball, masticating food like an angle grinder and worst of all the office janitor trundling around with a hoover that sounds like a jet engine, oblivious to the fact that they’re kicking out enough noise to put a Marine shooting range to shame. That’s where the magic of active noise cancelling headphones come in. One press of a button, and everything is mercifully muted out so you can concentrate on getting actual work done. Earlier this year, Jabra released their Evolve 75 over-ear headphones though not everyone can appreciate wearing a set of aural ear muffs on their bonce, which is where this new ear-bud-style variant comes into play.
Dubbed the Evolve 75e, the headphones have all the features of its larger sized siblings including active noise cancelling, wireless Bluetooth pairing, the usual ability to make and take calls off your phone and, handiest of all a light that turns on if you’re busy so that you don’t get interrupted. The Evolve 75e eschews the boom arm of its over-ear sibling the Evolve 75 but the line-in mike handles that task in an able fashion. Battery life is rated at all day use before it needs a charge and once you’ve clocked out for the day, it can be used in the usual fashion to pipe tunes into your ears.
The Evolve 75e is primarily for enterprise use so it only comes in a natty shade of black. It is slated to arrive in Malaysia in the beginning of 2018 and will retail for USD404 which is about RM 1693 with change. For more details on the Evolve 75e, shoot an email to [email protected]
