MyBiz wins at World Procurement Awards 2019
Malaysian company MyBiz Solutions under took an arduously stringent judging procedure that won them the coveted Procurement Consultancy Project Award at the World Procurement Awards 2019 which is already in its 13th year running in recognising them as among the best of the best in the competitive procurement industry.
The judging process to win the coveted Procurement Consultancy Project Award is stringent indeed with three comprehensive stages to the judging process but the winners are recognised to truly be the best of the best in the field. For the uninitiated, MyBiz Solutions is a procurement business consultancy, procurement business outsourcing and spend optimisation specialist headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
MyBiz won the World Procurement Award on account of their work with CIMB Group, one of ASEAN’s largest banking groups. To help streamline and enhance the banking group’s cost-to-income ratio which was a whopping 58.1% in 2015, MyBiz conceived RODAN (Regional Optimisation by Design, Analysis and Normalisation) to implement strategic procurements across CIMB’s numerous divisions.
The results are indisputable. Via RODAN, Mybiz was able to optimise CIMB’s expenditure significantly. By investing RM10 million, CIMB saw RM130 million in extra savings in the first year alone and RM600 million in procurement savings by April 2018.
“Our purpose is to transform businesses and support them in their journey to reach their maximum
potential, through innovative technologies developed under our roof. We have managed to save our
clients hundreds of millions in cash thanks to our automated and easy-to-use modules. Being recognised at the distinguished World Procurement Awards means a lot to all of us at MyBiz as this proves that we, a Malaysian business, can deliver results and compete among the other giants of the world,” said Cheong Yuk Wai, Chief Executive Officer of MyBiz Solutions Sdn Bhd. “Our proprietary software was recognised by Gartner, Inc in 2013, the world’s leading research firm for
global leaders. That marked the first time any Asian vendor appeared in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Strategic Sourcing Application Suites, ”adds Cheong. For more details on MyBiz swing by www.mybiz.net
