To refresh your memory, the Galaxy Note 10 series comes in two sizes – the 6.3-inch Galaxy Note 10 and the larger Galaxy Note 10+ with a 6.8-inch display. Both Super AMOLED displays have a centreline mounted punch hole for the 10-MP selfie camera and are rated for colour accuracy to ensure faithful colour reproduction and pin-sharp detail onscreen though the Galaxy Note 10+ has FHD+ resolution while the larger Galaxy Note 10+ is much crisper with a 4K resolution panel.

Both phones run Samsung’s latest Exynos 9825 octacore processor that’s one of their fastest chips yet. Both phones differ slightly on storage with the Galaxy Note 10 coming with 8GB RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage while the Galaxy Note 10+ has 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of expandable storage. The smaller Note 10 also has a 3,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging while the Note 10+ has a larger 4,300mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Note 10 has a triple rear camera array while the Galaxy Note 10+ has a quad camera array. Both are approximately similar with both coming with a 12-MP OIS-stabilised Dual Pixel primary camera, a secondary camera with a wide angle lens and a third OIS-stabilised camera with 2x zoom. The Galaxy Note10+ adds in a fourth ToF camera that can map depth data for AR applications and for better Live Focus and Live Focus Video footage. To date, DxOMark has rated the Galaxy Note 10+’s cameras to currently be the best in the market.

Of note with the Galaxy Note 10 series phones is a revamped S Pen stylus that now adds in gesture controls, allowing users to perform Air Gestures to perform a selected series of tasks. This somewhat resembles waving a wand about which does make it a rather interesting affair to use.
