New OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds will support Google’s Spatial Audio

Recently launched in China and slated for wider deployment at the upcoming OnePlus Cloud Event on February 7th 2023, the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds are the first TWS earbuds that will feature Google’s Spatial Audio technology. For the uninitiated, Google’s Spatial Audio tech was developed for Android 13 and enables three dimensional audio for superb immersion. 

What are the OnePlus Buds Pro 2

The new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will also feature Android’s Fast Pair tech for easy pairing, audio-switching support to rapidly swap between two paired Android devices with one tap and, of course, excellent audio quality that was made in collaboration with Danish speaker manufacturer Dynaudio.

Powering the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are their own MelodyBoost dual drivers that consist of an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter enhanced with tech culled from premium speakers that, in tandem with Google’s Spatial Sound, are able to product vivid sound stages, rich bass and exquisite detail.

There’s no official word on price yet from OnePlus but it will make its global debut at the upcoming OnePlus Cloud 11 event this coming 7th February 2023.
