realme C55 with huge 5,000mAh battery now in Malaysia; priced from RM699
realme has just launched their latest entry level phone dubbed the realme C55 with two possible RAM/storage configurations and prices that start from RM699.
What is the realme C55
In terms of hardware, the realme C55 features a 6.72-inch 1080p IPS LCD display which features a 90Hz refresh rate and the ability to feature a dynamic island of sorts mimicking the iPhone after a fashion that they’ve dubbed as the Mini Capsule which offers basic notifications.
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio G88 processor running Android 13 with their own Realme UI 4.0 with two configurations which are 6GB RAM/128GB of storage for the base model and the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model with both variants featuring expandable storage via a microSD card slot to the tune of up to 1TB cards. Connectivity is capped at 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.2 though it oddly enough has a 3.5mm audio jack.
On the rear of the phone, you get a 64MP primary camera with the front featuring an 8MP selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In Malaysia, you get the choice of the aforementioned two storage configurations and two colourways which have been referred to as Sunshower and Rainy Night.
How much is the realme C55 in Malaysia?
The base 6GB/128GB model retails for RM699 while the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model retails for RM799. The phone is now on preorder in Malaysia from now until 30th March 2023 with a free realme Buds 2 Neo earbuds from official realme stores.
