Huawei nova 11 series launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM1,299
Huawei revealed a veritable array of smartphones, laptops and tablets in Malaysia, each of which can seamlessly work together to become a greater sum of their parts with deep interconnectivity via their Huawei Super Device protocol.
In Malaysia, Huawei launched the new nova 11 Pro smartphone that features a more powerful selfie camera than the rear, the MateBook D 14 2023 and MateBook 16s 2023 laptops as well as the new MatePad Air and MatePad 11.5 tablets.

The new Huawei nova 11 Pro is the most powerful of the new trio of smartphones with a unique array of hardware that optimises it as a smartphone for content creators with a more powerful dual front selfie camera.
The phone weighs about 188g and packs a 6.78-inch OLED display with FHD+ (2,652 x 1,200 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. What makes the phone particularly special is that the display itself is sheathed in their own drop resistant Kunlun Glass that was first deployed on the Huawei mate50 Pro. The backplate itself uses a vegan leather finish in your choice of green or black.
Under the hood, the Huawei nova 11 Pro runs a midrange Snapdragon 778G 4G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage with their own EMUI 13 OS running under the hood with apps sourced from the Huawei AppGallery. T
he rear features a 50MP F/1.9 Ultra Vision camera and an 8MP F/2.2 ultra wide angle camera with AI image stabilisation. The aforementioned front-facing dual selfie camera consists of a primary 60MP F/2.4 ultra wide angle camera with a secondary 8MP F/2.2 close-up camera with 2X optical zoom and up to 5X digital zoom. Keeping it powered is a 4,500mAh battery featuring 100W fast charging capabilities.

The new Huawei nova 11 is slightly smaller and lighter at 168g with a 6.8-inch FullView display with FHD+ resolution, a similar 120Hz refresh rate as the nova 11 Pro and slim 1mm bezels. Under the hood, the phone runs on a similar Snapdragon 778G processor with a 4G modem akin to the nova 11 Pro paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
Keeping it powered is a 5,000mAh battery with slightly slower 40W charging compared to the 100W fast charging of the nova 11 Pro. Where the nova 11 differs is its camera setup. While the rear has a similar dual 50MP and 8MP setup as the nova 11 Pro, the front selfie camera consists only of a sole 60MP selfie camera.

In terms of hardware, the baseline nova 11i is the most affordable of the bunch with a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 2,388 x 1080 pixels resolution, a midrange Snapdragon 680 processor with a 4G LTE modem, 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The rear dual camera array features a modest 48MP F/1.8 camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor while the front sports a 16MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 5,000mAh battery with a modest 40W fast charging support.
Huawei nova 11 series prices in Malaysia
The Huawei nova 11 Pro retails for RM2,599 with a free Huawei Band 7 worth RM219 as a free gift . The Huawei nova 11 retails for RM2,199, has the same free Band 7 as the nova 11 Pro that’s worth RM219 for free.
The entry-level nova 11i retails for RM1,299 with a free power bank worth RM129. All three phones will be available nationwide in Malaysia starting from 7th July 2023. All three phones from the nova 11 series come in your choice of black or green colourways though only the nova 11 Pro has a vegan leather textured backplate.
