Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Malaysia prices and launch dates revealed; midrange tablets yours from RM,2099 and up

Those looking for the quintessential Samsung tablet experience at a more modest price tag will love what they’ve just launched in Malaysia for October. Alongside the Galaxy S23 FE smartphones, they’ve also announced the Samsung Galaxy Galaxy Tab S9 FE Malaysia prices and launch dates too along with the release of the budget Galaxy Buds FE earbuds.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Malaysia specs

Intended as the more affordable sibling to the flagship Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series comes in eight possible variants that are broadly split into the baseline Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the slightly larger Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ as well as different combinations of storage and WiFi-only as well as 5G-capable variants. 

Both tablets feature an S Pen bundled in the box though the bundled S Pen variant doesn’t have BLE for gesture based controls so you can’t wave it about like a wand to get it to do things.

The tablets also feature IP68 dust and water resistance as standard which is a first for their FE-series tablets. In keeping with their other tablets and phones, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series will feature 4 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates for exceptional longevity. 

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE hosts a 10.9-inch 90Hz WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) TFT LCD display, runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 processor with Android 13, comes with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB expandable storage via a microSD card and has a 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The rear hosts an 8MP camera with a front-mounted 12MP ultra wide angle camera for video calls. 

The larger Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ hosts a 12.4-inch 90Hz LCD display, a similar Exynos 1380 processor as the smaller Tab S9 FE, either 8GB with 128GB storage or 12GB with 256GB storage with similar expansion using a microSD card. Powering the tablet is a 10,090mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging. On the rear the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a better camera setup with a single 8MP and secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera. The front selfie camera is a 12MP ultra wide angle camera.

A Book Cover keyboard case which adds in a kickstand, a keyboard and a touchpad was also seen on the official website though there’s no pricing or availability details for it as yet.
