Xiaomi Mix Flip makes surprise Malaysia debut; foldable priced at RM4,999

While the new night photography centric Xiaomi 14T series took the limelight, Xiaomi certainly still had surprises in store for the night with the release of their first ever foldable on Malaysia’s shores – the Xiaomi Mix Flip and they even revealed how much it will cost in Malaysia.

In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is armed to the teeth and is able to go toe to toe with the competition especially other foldables with several unique advantages, with the biggest among them being a much larger 4.01-inch 120Hz cover screen that goes end to end on all edges while retaining 392 x 1,208 pixels resolution. Fortunately, it’s also protected with their own Xiaomi Shield Glass.

Flipping the phone open revealed a main 6.86-inch CrystalRes foldable display that has 2,912 x 1,224 pixels resolution and an adaptive 1-120hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a top of the line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor running Android 14 paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, which is flagship-grade hardware all around. Taking centre stage is a dual 50MP main camera with a secondary 50MP telephoto camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 4,780mAh battery with 67W wired charging.
