Myth Avenue Gaming and Alter Ego triumph Asia Pacific Predator League 2025
for Valorant while Myth Avenue Gaming from Malaysia took the gold for Dota 2 for the sixth Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 that was held in Malaysia. Both teams took on all comers and triumphed to earn the coveted Predator Shield as well as USD65,000 in prize money.
At the conclusion of the awards ceremony that took place in a packed all at MITEC, Acer announced that the seventh edition of the Asia Pacific Predator league will take place in India with Acer Malaysia’s Managing Director Mr. Kon Tek Yoong handing over the official Predator League Pennant to Acer India President and Manager Director Harish Kohli.
While Alter Ego took the gold, ZOL Esports from the Philippines still managed to be the first runner-up with a substantial USD20,000 in prize money while Crest Gaming Zst from Japan and Xipto Esport from Malaysia managed to get a respectable USD7,500 each as the second and third runner up.
In Dota 2, Team Helios from Indonesia became the first runner-up with USD20,000 in prize money with Team Ivory from the Philippines and 123 Gaming from Mongolia each getting USD7,500 each as the second and third runner up.
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 also introduced new mascots Nero and Yuggy and expanded their theme song ‘It Lies Within’ to more languages. The community also saw performances by Sandara Park and Minzy of K-pop group 2NE1 as well as Aina Abdul and Hael Husaini as well as G22 from the Philippines.
