Samsung drops more hints and side profile shot of next generation Galaxy Z foldable

The rumour mill is certainly in full swing as Samsung is dropping hints willy-nilly about their upcoming flagship Galaxy Z Fold7, their titular flagship phone that will likely launch in the next few weeks.

Their latest press release mentions that the next generation foldable will be ‘thinner, lighter and more durable than the last’. Their current generation foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold6 is just 12.1mm thick if folded down and 5.6mm when unfolded while weighing 239g. This means that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will potentially be thinner and lighter than even what the Fold6 was capable of.

The statement also issues a side image of the next generation Galaxy Z Fold7 as well as a compact teaser and it looks insanely slim indeed. Bar these snippets, there’s no official news or further details of the launch date or specifications of their next generation foldable. We’ll keep you posted when we get any details.
