realme 16 Pro series launched in Malaysia; 200MP cameras with prices from RM1,599
realme has officially launched the realme 16 Pro series that consists of the titular realme 16 Pro and the higher end realme 16 Pro+.
Featuring aesthetics designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the realme 16 Pro+ and realme 16 Pro bear a similar design language with a square-shaped rear camera housing with geometric shaped cutouts for the cameras.
Both phones also differ slightly in terms of size and specifications though both run the latest Android 16 and realme’s own realme UI 7.0

The higher end realme 16 Pro+ comes with a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display that gently curves on the edges to give it an elegant touch. In terms of specifications, the display is quite well appointed, with 1,280 x 2,800 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 storage.
The rear of the realme 16 Pro+ hosts a triple camera array that consists of a 200MP f/1.9 main camera that also features optical image stabilisation, a 50MP f/2.8 telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera.
Up front, the phone has a single 50MP f/2.4 camera for selfies. To offer exceptional endurance, the realme 16 Pro+ hosts a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging.

The realme 16 Pro has a slightly smaller and flat display with a matching rounded backplate. The display itself features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1,272 x 2,772 pixels resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It also sports a different processor – the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max – that is accompanied by up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage.
On the camera front, the realme 16 Pro has a similar setup as the Plus model but lacks the 50MP telephoto camera.

realme 16 Pro+ and realme 16 Pro price in Malaysia
In Malaysia, the realme 16 Pro+ is priced at RM2,299. It comes in your choice of either Master Gold or Master Grey colourways with 12GB RAM/256GB storage.
The new realme 16 Pro with 12GB RAM/256GB storage is priced at RM1,599 while the 12GB RAM/ 512GB storage is priced at RM1,899. Both storage variants comes in your choice Orchid Purple and Pebble Grey colourways.
