Fresh off the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 launch in London and live-streamed to the globe, the brand has announced pricing and preorder details for their latest flagship foldables the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8 and the top of the line Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for the Malaysia market along with prices for their Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 in 44mm and 40mm sizes in WiFi-only and LTE-enabled variants. Those who preorder any of Samsung’s latest flagship foldables will enjoy a variety of exclusive rebates up to RM800, a Samsung Rewards Points Booster valued at RM400 and an instant rebate of RM500 off the phone with selected bank cards. Customers can also enjoy a 0% interest instalment plan of up to 36 months at participating banks and customers who purchase the new foldables can purchase selected Samsung accessories at up to 30% off. Preorders start today on 22 July 2026 and end on 13 August 2026.

In terms of pricing, there’s a noticeable price bump across the entire range but that’s to be expected seeing the ongoing RAM and storage shortage. Compared to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7, the base 256GB model is pricier by RM300, the 512GB model by RM500 and the 1TB model by RM600.

If you’re looking at the Galaxy Z Flip8, you’re looking at an RM400 price bump for the base 256GB variant and an RM600 price hike for the 512GB variant compared to its predecessor the Galaxy Z Flip7. Naturally, seeing as the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a new form factor, it has no historical predecessor to compare against just yet.
