New Epson EcoTank printer line-up for 2026 to offer better value for businesses and homes

Printing giant Epson has expanded their range of printers in Malaysia with a new line-up of their Epson EcoTank EcoTank printer line-up that consists of the EcoTank L5390, L3356, L3316, L3350, L3310 and the L1310 that are intended to offer cost-efficient quality printing with an emphasis on small businesses and home users.

Revamped Epson EcoTank printer features

Common across the new Epson EcoTank printer line-up is a more streamlined chassis that has the ink tank sitting flush with the chassis without compromising visibility, enabling users to see remaining ink tank levels at a glance while also allowing for easier storage and portability thanks to a more compact footprint. 

To accommodate Malaysia’s more humid climate which tends to lead papers to curl more and which leads to a less than ideal printing experience, the new Epson EcoTank printer line-up features a redesigned paper feed with better paper support along with an expanded paper tray to minimise paper bending to ensure a stable feed. The new line-up also uses Epson’s Heat-Free technology that offers lower power consumption, making them a more cost effective choice over time.

The new Epson EcoTank printer line-up also utilises high-capacity CMYK 65ml dye ink bottles which offer up to 4,700 pages of mono prints per bottle while colour ink bottles offer up to 7,500 pages of colour printouts before needing a reload.

The new line-up also features extended durability with the warranty that vouches for the ability to print up to 50,000 pages with selected models featuring an easily replaceable Maintenance Box for low-level maintenance.

As the most fully-featured variant, the Epson EcoTank L5390 printer has a sleek, improved design with the ability to print out in colour as well as black and white, scan and even fax pages as well in mono or colour.

The new Epson EcoTank printer line-up also features Ethernet, WiFi and WiFi Direct support as well as USB 2.0 connectivity. The top most powerful model in the line-up, the Epson EcoTank L5390, is able to offer print, scan and copy functions.

The EcoTank L5390 also features support for Epson Smart Panel that allows for easy setup, monitoring and scanning from smartphones as well as the ability to edit and combine multiple pages into a single PDF file. The Epson EcoTank L3356 and L3350 printers also feature this function.

For those on a budget, the Epson EcoTank L1310 acts as the baseline model with USB 2.0 printing and eschew scanning as well as mobile and cloud printing for those who need a no-frills option.
