Dell 14S announced at IFA 2026; new workhorse laptop coming to Malaysia this November

Seeing the ongoing chip crunch which has led to skyrocketing prices on memory along with the stunning success of Apple’s Macbook Neo, Dell rolled out their workhorse Dell XPS 13 DX13260 at Computex 2026.

This time around, they’re launching another more refined take on a capable budget laptop for students and mobile workers dubbed the Dell 14S at IFA 2026.

Dell 14S Specs

The Dell 14S comes with an aluminium chassis that  is just 13.5mm thin while weighing 1.15kg in your choice of four possible colourways – Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim and Velvet Green.

Potential configurations vary but the Dell 14S can potentially come with either a 14-inch 2K (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) 60Hz panel or a higher end 2,8K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) 120Hz display, up to an Intel Series 3 Core 7 350 processor, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to a 1TB SSD, Intel graphics  and a 61.2Whr battery rated for up to 21 hours of Netflix streaming.

Other features include stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, an FHD camera up top, fast WiFI 6E, a HDMI port, a pair of USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an audio jack and a HDMI 1.4 port. 

Based on official literature, the Dell 14S will be coming to Malaysia in November 2026 though there’s no official pricing or exact mentions of which configuration will be available in our market.
