Sonos Beam Ultra soundbar and Ace Ultra headphones launched in Malaysia

Sonos officially launched their Beam Ultra soundbar as well as their Sonos Ace Ultra headphones in Malaysia. Both offerings are available from 29 September 2026 onwards via TC Acoustic, Sonos’ official distributor in Malaysia. On top of new hardware, Sonos also revealed their latest firmware dubbed as Sonos 27 that powers their audio gear.

Sonos Beam Ultra and Sonos Ace Ultra specs and price

The Sonos Beam Ultra is a compact sound bar that crams in nine drivers including two upward-firing drivers to offer true 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound. The Beam also offers clearer dialogue via a redesigned centre channel. Like other Sonos products, it also offers seamless connectivity with other Sonos gear and can act as the centrepiece of a home entertainment system by pairing up with a Sonos Sub for more base or with selected Sonos portable speakers like the Sonos Play for better directional audio.

Also launched was the Sonos Ace Ultra over-ear wireless headphones that feature 40mm drivers and ten microphones to offer potent Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

On paper, the Sonos Ace Ultra is also rated for up to 35 hours of battery life with ANC on. Of note is the ability to seamlessly handover music tracks from a Sonos sound system to the headphones and back without the need to have a paired phone in range.

Hardware aside, the brand also showcased their latest audio operating system dubbed as Sonos 27 that now adds AI integration via the Sonos sound app that lets you use popular LLMs like ChatGPT to give instructions to a connected Sonos sound system.

In terms of pricing, the Sonos Beam Ultra is priced at RM4,199 in your choice of Black and White while the Sonos Ace Ultra is available at RM2,299 in Black, White, Agave and Sand. For more details, check out http://my.tcacoustic.asia
