Alienware 27 AW2723DF Gaming Monitor with 280Hz overclocked refresh rate coming to Malaysia
Intended primarily for eSports athletes who require responsive, tear-free displays, the new Alienware 27 AW2723DF and Alienware 25 AW2523HF gaming monitors are slated for arrival in Malaysia in the near future with the former arriving in early September and the latter this month in August 2022.
Both gaming monitors have Alienware’s unique Legend 2.0 gaming aesthetics with a distinctive matte finish and fold-out hangars for headsets with the more premium Alienware 27 gaming monitor offering RGB lighting and sharper, smoother imagery. Here’s how they both stack up…
Alienware 27 AW2723DF gaming monitor price and specifications
The Alienware 27 AW2723DF gaming monitor is built from the ground up to offer exceptional gaming visuals and has their unmistakable Legend 2.0 design with a matte finish, RGB backlighting in strategic points and a Y-shaped sturdy stand with swivel, pivot, tilt and height adjustments.
In terms of hardware, the Alienware 27 AW2723DF has a 27-inch Fast IPS Nano Color InfinityEdge display with a matte coating and a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio with 1ms GtG response time and 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution.
Colour accuracy is exceptional with a 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut with a Delta E< 3 as well as VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. It also has NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD Free-Sync as well as VESA AdaptiveSync Display certification to cover all the bases to support up to 280Hz overclocked refresh rates.
Connectivity is exceptional as well with a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, 5 USB ports and an audio port. According to Dell, the Alienware 27 AW2723DF gaming monitor will be arriving in early September 2022 though no official price has been set yet.
Alienware 25 AW2523HF gaming monitor price and specifications
The Alienware 25 AW2523HF gaming monitor comes with a 24.5-inch Fast IPS display with a matte coating and 1080p resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate if you’re using the DisplayPort 1.4 or 255Hz if you’re using the HDMI 2.0 port. It also features a conventional 16:9 aspect ratio as the higher end AW2723DF gaming monitor with HDR10 support and 0.5ms GtG response time along with AMD Free-Sync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync Display certification.
While it has the aesthetic hallmarks of an Alienware Legend 2.0 design, it unfortunately lacks the RGB backlighting though the display has tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustability for its sturdy hexagonal base . It also has a solid assortment of ports with a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort v1.4, 5USB ports and a headphone and audio line-out. The Alienware 25 AW2523HF gaming monitor will be available this month in August but no official price has been set as yet.
